no roll 77/22

New member here.
In the process of acquireing a Ruger Mdl 77/22. Beautiful condition . Checkered walnut stock, iron sights. Funny thing about it is that it does not have a 77/22 roll mark. Barrel is marked with safety warning and 22 LR Cal, and the reciever is marked with serial #(700-01xxx) and RUGER with Ruger symbol. Have tried to get inf on it on line but no luck.
Does anyone know how rare this Ruger is or isin't, and how many escaped the roll mark machine?
Aprox value? Any and all info appreciated......Bill

The RENE lists this rifle as "Rare". "Slightly less than 400 made, with at least 85 exported to Australia" Your S/N is within the given range of
700-01038 to 700-01272. Ruger lists this as being made in 1984. The value is really what so,meone is willing to pay for it, but it should definitely hold it's own! Good find!
