On February 2, 2013 a very special Ruger Mark I is being auctioned at Carol Watson's Orange Coast Auctions. It was original owned by Commander Ian Fleming, the author of the James Bond books. Documentation of this includes letters by Robert Q Sutherland and Steven K. Vogel, among others. This firearm has been in my personal collection for over 35 years. One of the early RCA journals contained an article entitled the ""The Man With the Golden Gun"" or something like that. It is time to let it go and let someone else treasure it.

You can view the gun at their website: http://cwocauctions.com/

Click on ""Auctions"". Chose ""Proxibid"". Chose ""Premiere Firearms Auction, Feb 2, 2013"". At the bottom of the page find ""Go to Lot:"". Enter 481. There are instructions on how to bid, etc. Or call the auction house and they will help you.

As a Ruger collector since 1975 I wanted to make sure that other RCA members have the opportunity to own this special MKI.

    Thanks for looking.
