0 Replies and 3720 Views engraved single-six  3720  0 Started by  baogongmeo This past weekend at an auction I saw a single-six that had an engraved grip frame. Only the grip frame was engraved...the bottom of the trigger guard, the bottom of the grip strap, and the back strap. At the wide part of the back strap behind the hammer there was some sort of cats head like a Puma,it was raised up above the surrounding...

0 Replies and 3819 Views Blackhawk Convertible .32 H&R Mag - 32/20 Win  3819  0 Started by  Louroy I purchased this revolver from someone needing cash for the holidays. So far I've been able to find very little information regarding the gun. Catalog S-32x according to the box, it's in very good condition, with both cylinders. It's got an engraving on the top, looks to be some kind of flower Any information or history is appreciated! Thanks

He did superb work and mostly used the revolvers to demonstrate the sight picture his red ramp kits gave (he also sold white outline rear sight replacement blades.) His prices were high as was the quality of his work. Charlie was impressed enough to completely buy Lee out during one of the old Yuma Gun Shows, his company was C. C. Fetter &...

0 Replies and 3340 Views Ruger Vaquero model question  3340  0 Started by  joynerthedad Hello. Perhaps someone can help me. I have a Ruger Vaquero serial number 57-41007. It is my understanding based on my research it is an original Vaquero made on the larger frame (pre-2005). Ruger said the model number is 528 but they are unable to tell me if it is a Sheriff's model. It has a 3 3/4 barrel and is in 45 Colt. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks - Joynerthedad

I'm sending it in to the Ruger repair center. I'll have it reconditioned, be surprised if there aren't several parts that need to be replaced. they said the reconditioning could include rebluing should I want it to. So m...
