0 Replies and 7057 Views 10/22 50th anniversary model question  7057  0 Started by  stringbuzz Hello all, This is my first post as I just joined today. I was referred here by Ruger since they were not able to answer some of my questions. I own what I am starting to believe is a rare 10/22 50th anniversary model. It was manufactured in March of 1999 as a special order for one of their distributors and it was never in a catalog. About the rifle, it is all stainless with a laminate stock and a custom matching silver looking scope bearing the Ruger insignias on the adjustment caps. It has n...

0 Replies and 3407 Views Value of a .32 Blackhawk Convertible NIB  3407  0 Started by  theoldcoot What I’ve got is a: Ruger Model S-32X. Serial number 610-000xx. It’s a .32 H&R Mag/32-20 Win Blackhawk Convertible, with a 6-½ barrel. It’s NIB, with all documents, and the overpack. I’m thinking of putting it in an auction on GunBroker but have no idea of what to expect out of it or what the minimum bid should be. I just can’t find any comps to compare it with. Anybody out there have any ideas TheOldCoot Be prepared. When seconds count, the police are only minutes away.

0 Replies and 3756 Views A question about the terms "Scarce" & "Rare"  3756  0 Started by  RugerHound Is there a threshold where a particular firearm is generally considered ''Scarce'' or ''Rare'' in terms of numbers produced (e.g. 150 produced might be scarce, where 20 known to exist would be rare) Just trying to figure out where those lines are! Thanks much Regards, Pete

My Dad bought it used in the early 50's. It's been in the family ever since. I don't use it due to it's value. No box or paperwork. I contacted Ruger for the date of manufacture, August 1951. It is a real Red Eagle standard. Approx $500

0 Replies and 3230 Views 1978 SS new model Blackhawk 357  3230  0 Started by  sicilian I have a 1978 Stainless Steel New Model Blackhawk with a 6 1/2 barrel. I bought it from a friend about 15 years ago for what I thought was a pretty fair price. I have only fired it 6 times and was told by the original owner that he only fired it about that many times as well. It is in Pristine condition and I was just wondering if anybody might give me an idea as to what it might be worth If anybody can give me an idea i would appreciate it very much. I do not have the original box for it.
