0 Replies and 6071 Views RARE Ruger M77RLSBZ New in Box!  6071  0 Started by  jsgwoodsman I have an early tang safety m77RLS (ultralight with sights) in 270 caliber. What makes it rare in my opinion is that it’s a laminate stock version. I’ve seen one or two other tang safety RLS rifles that claimed to have factory laminate stocks on them but they appear to be replacement stocks from a new production period (much like the ones seen for sale on eBay) because the color is different on mine compared to the others. I know mine is authentic and has an original laminate stock because it’s...

0 Replies and 4996 Views Ruger RSM  4996  0 Started by  exbo3388 Hello all, I recently purchased 2 RSM rifles in .416 Rigby. Being somewhat familiar with the RSM, I have 8 in all three calibers, I am a little confused. My other rifles have much smaller diameter barrels. These two rifles also have different prefix serial numbers...750-00024 and 750-00030. The barrel taper starts much further down the barrel and the diameter is 1/10'' smaller. I also noticed that the front sight is slightly different. Comments

0 Replies and 5293 Views Mini 14 5832 rarity?  5293  0 Started by  TDT I am a newbie, and I have a question about a mini 14 I recently purchased from my gunsmith. This piece shipped in Dec. 2012 according to Ruger's serial history service. It is a Law Enforcement model 5832. SS/Syn, 16''04 barrel w/flash hider. The unique feature is a factory installed, and Ruger branded, Amega tactical rail, that runs from the receiver to the top part of the gas block, ( it actually serves as the top half of the gas block ). This rifle is in excellent condition, no dings and a...

0 Replies and 5318 Views M77 express  5318  0 Started by  exbo3388 Help. I just purchased a M77 express in .338 Win. The S/N is 760-000xx. Looking at the Ruger book, I would think that would make it a early production rifle... Here is the confusing part, the original box is 50yr anniversary marked and all the numbers seem correct, including the store price tag of 1899.00.

0 Replies and 5344 Views Help with NIB 44. Carbine 25th Edition  5344  0 Started by  ResQ91 Hello! I hope some of you would help me with some advice. My buddy talked me into considering a 44. Carbine to deer hunt in the brush. (I have missed getting a shot off trying to find deer in my rifle scope too many times) My impression was of a fast handling, light gun with semi-auto. I went out looking for one and ended up buying a 25th Anniversary model directly from Ruger in an auction. It turns out it is from Ruger&39;s factory collection. It is brand new (Well, made in 1982) but ...

0 Replies and 8745 Views Value of my Ruger M77 Mark II  8745  0 Started by  Wahoo367 I want to get an idea what my Ruger rifle is worth. It is a M77 Mark II in 30-06 caliber. It is stainless steel, with scope rings, and has a black synthetic stock. The sides of the rear section of the stock are recessed, and have ''RUGER'' embossed on them. I have been told that it is a ''paddle'' stock. The stock forearm has two rivet-like pieces going through it. The rifle has sling swivels. The rifle is in very good condition, having been used very little. I won it new in a raffle several yea...

0 Replies and 5699 Views Rare Wal-Mart find  5699  0 Started by  TxViper3187 Like I mentioned in my introduction thread, I bought my first Ruger 10/22 in January. Went to Wal-Mart and picked up one of the 50th Anniversary editions. It has been in my closet since the day I bought it cause I haven't had time yet to go shoot. I got it out last night and realized the Serial Number is 0001-80005. :o I have a couple pictures I can post later when I get home. Just trying to verify that this is what I really have because I don't see how 0001 ends up at Wal-Mart in north Texas...

0 Replies and 7435 Views Front sling mount for 44 carbine  7435  0 Started by  pettey88 I would like to add a sling to my 1981 .44 carbine. I am aware of two types of front swivel mounts. One aftermarket fits between the barrel band and looks as if it would require removing material from the band to compensate for the width of the swivel mount.I don't really want to do that. The other looks like its original equipment and is a blued steel D ring which fits over the longer than necessary barrel band machine screw. I have seen this style in photos and guns I have seen at shows, shops ...
