0 Replies and 4869 Views M77RLSmk2 .243W info  4869  0 Started by  cptpoly Hi all, I previously posted this question in the wrong part of the board. Some years ago, probably 20, I had a limited run(Davidson's, I think), M77RLSmk2 in .243W. The rifle was a high polish blue, 18 1/2 barrel with sights, walnut stock with a dark forend tip(ala ebony). I had a little Leupold 2x7 on it, and had a lot of fun shooting it. As I VIVIDLY recall, the noise that came out of it upon firing was unbelievable! In a fit of insanity, I traded it for another rifle, and now have neither...

0 Replies and 5852 Views M77RPmk2, 7.62x39  5852  0 Started by  cptpoly I have a M77RPmk2 in 7.62x39, model 07973. It is a high polish blue, 22 inch light contour barrel, with the zytel stock. I know it is a limited run rifle; I believe from Davidson's. Does anyone know the production figures for this rifle, and its relative rarity It's 98 with box, receipts, etc. It is a shooter for me-not interested in selling-just curious if anyone else has one, and your comments on same. Thanks.

0 Replies and 4374 Views Lunch box 10/22  4374  0 Started by  ruger66 This is the real neat one. It is what collector call a lunch box special. This came from a retired Ruger employee. They call them that because the employee built them for themselves. This one has a 17'' barrel,no sights, red Ruger pad, extra nice figured walnut fingergroove stock. If you notice the barrel was never dovetailed for a rear sight. I added Kollmogan 2 3/4 bearcub dot scope in Buehler Scope Mounts.&91attachment=2&93matts-gun2.jpg&91/attachment&93&91attachment=1&93matts-gun3.jpg&9...

It is a Model 77-22 sn 700-22246, This rifle has been converted to .22 Hornet, I bought it from a collector in March 1990, prior to the introduction of the Model 77-22 Hornet. It was presented to me as being one of two factory prototypes. There are no stampings that would indicate it was a prototype, however. The clip has been altered and welded so that it will not hold ...
