0 Replies and 5639 Views Spiffed Up Ruger  5639  0 Started by  flattop44 Here is one of my favorite .44 Flattops, it was scratched up and gold inlayed by Ray Viramontez, Master Engraver. This gun had a longer barrel on it at one time and was cut for reasons unknown. Ray engraved several Rugers for the factory including the 1,000,000 Standard auto. His gold inlay work is superb!! 0 Replies and 4665 Views Ruger No.1A in .300 RCM & Texas Whitetail  4665  0 Started by  RugerNo1 Shot this buck last Saturday morning on our Ranch. About 6 minutes after legal shooting light- in the morning! If he had not been so close and with my 10X binoculars, I could not have made him out to be this good. I decided to try one of the newer Ruger No.1A's in the .300 RCM. Was using the Hornady Superformance 165 gr. SST.&91attachment=0&932010 10 point 010.jpg&91/attachment&93

0 Replies and 5468 Views Big Bend Ranch 1975  5468  0 Started by  RugerNo1 This photo was taken many years ago when the Big Bend Ranch was privately owned; now it is a State Park- the Big Bend Ranch State Park. My Brother-in-Law and I were Mule Deer hunting. We had been glassing and just got up to move somewhere else when he took this unposed picture. That is Mexico on the horizon. I am carrying my first No.1, a 1B in 7mm Rem Mag. Sadly, I no longer have it. &91attachment=0&93Big Bend 1975.jpg&91/attachment&93 This was just to see if I could get a picture up! Lee
