I am proud to be a part of Ruger Collectors Association. I love Rugers and love to shoot them..The single actions are my favorite...I do my whitetail hunting with a Super Blackhawk Hunter in 44 mag and a Super Redhawk in 454..

God is good all the time

Welcome Ronnie, glad to have you as part of our group. I too tend to lean toward the Single Actions. I have killed a few whitetails with an old early Super Blackhawk of mine. Your .44 Hunter is truly a ""Hunting Machine"" and the Redhawk ain't bad either!
    Again, welcome!!

RGW, I wouldn't exactly call that a ""small"" collection, I'd call it a pretty nice one! You have some good guns there.

These only have the single cylender... They were out of a special run of sheriff models for the San Diego Sheriff's Association, or so I was told... They are SS with 4 5/8 barrel, new in box, test fired only..

If anyone has anymore info of these special runs of 40 S&W, I would appreciate the info.. Also the value as of today... The serial # dates them 2007, but I was told they were actually mfg. in 2001..
