Hi all...have a question. I bought a Ruger Blackhawk in the early 90's, it's a 45 long colt 5 1/2"" barrel, here's the deal- the frame is marked as a Super Blackhawk 44 Magnum, barrel and cylinder are 45 LC. The serial # is obviously on the opposite side of the frame as the SBH stamp, I contacted Ruger and they have the serial # logged as a 45 LC Blackhawk, obviously someone at the factory assembled the pistol using the wrong frame. When I told them what I had, they really wanted me to send it back to them. I decided to keep it hoping it might have some collectors value. It has never been fired. Is it worth keeping or should I shoot it?
