I have a red eagle in cardboard box in almost perfect condition - don't think it was ever even fired. The serial no. is 2343. Can anyone tell me more about this & its' approx. value today.

    Thanks,

Welcome to the RCA website. Your Ruger pistol was shipped in 1949. Ex. condition in original box should be worth around $6 t0 $700 if it still has all the original parts. If you would post a picture showing the bolt, I could tell if it has been changed. The original bolt was switched on a lot of these early Ruger pistols. Should also have 2 tone magazine.
