    Hello friends,

Somebody is offering me the revolver shown in the attached pictures. Some doubts,

    A. Seems to be that the S/N is 5xx, back to 1954. It's possible that the weapon was originally engraved?
    B. That ""all blue"" finish is correct?
    C. Those grips are correct?

Any input will be very welcome. Thanks.

While it is a pretty Single-Six I do not believe that it is factory engraved. The grips are not Ruger grips but custom panels. You can always send a form from the Ruger Company website to the factory requesting information on the gun to be sure.

In the pics on the other post it appears to be highly polished....nice but I don't think the factory was involved.....way to much engraving work....BILL wanted them done CHEAP....OK just my opinion and I hope you can prove me wrong....RR.

I'll toss in my 2 cents worth and offer this image as an example of what a lot of SR&Co.'s engraved Single-Sixes looked like.
