    Is there any significance to a 4 digit serial number. Mine is 1138.

    Yep, that is a low and interesting number for a Bearcat. Are you sure the first digit is a ""1"" and not the letter ""I"" which would just be a straight vertical mark without a Flag at the top. I would love to see close-up pictures of that serial number.

    I also have a bearcat with a 4-digit serial number (2931) which I inherited more than 30-years ago. The gun is in great condition and I'd like to learn more about its history. Any ideas on how to get information or documentation about my gun?
