I just bought this one on GunBroker last weekend. I wanted to pick up a decent ""shooter"" just to see how I liked the OM guns, and the seller categorized this one as ""very good"" condition. I'm not so sure I'd agree. The turn line on the .22LR cylinder is quite pronounced, and the butt and backstrap have several dings between them. The left side grip is good, but the right side has a couple of minor scratches. The bluing is good except for a tiny bit of wear on the left front tip of the barrel. It does lock up nice and tight, and the action is ""buttah"".

I realize the gun is worth whatever I was willing to give, but I'm thinking I overpaid by a fair amount at $375 plus $30.00 shipping. Comments and honest opinions are welcome, especially since I'm new to purchasing older used guns.

In the end, I'm still excited to have my first OM Ruger; and it's quite apparent to me why many people prefer them to the new models. I am positive it won't be my last.

Thanks for your input, Mr. Hamm! There's no doubt it'll be shot and enjoyed on a very regular basis.
