I am a new member and my question has to do with a Ruger M77 .243 Winchester bolt action rifle made in 1976. It has an inscription on the barrel that reads ""Made in the 200th year of American Liberty."" It has had very little usage and is in quite good shape. I am wondering what the monetary value of the rifle would be. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Create a Gun Broker.com account, search for your rifle and watch which ones sell and which ones dont. That's the easiest way to get some idea without much effort. I've been watching them for awhile and the nice ones go between $500-$700 depending on condition, type of scope etc. There are a lot of sellers with the ""I dont really care if I sell it"" price.
The true values are the no reserve, low starting bid auctions.
