    Hey guys

I just purchased my first single action old model Ruger Flat Top 44mag and when I started doing some research via the net I ended up finding an article written by Bill Hamm discussing the different Ruger variations of early flat tops. If I am reading the article correctly I believe I may have what he refers to as a type 1.
I did some further searching on the internet and have not found much else on the different types that he discusses in his article though. Can anyone point me in the direction of a second source or article showing the different traits and changes of these early guns?

    Thank You
