This was my first NRA Convention experience. Have been meaning to go to them in the past but something always seemed to come up. I am honored that the RCA asked me to do a display for them, I was proud to represent them and show people what Ruger Double Actions were all about. I also met the new Ruger CEO, Mr. Todd W. Seyfert and he told me personally that he thought my display was outstanding.

Although I did not win any of the "major" awards, I did win the National Firearms Museum “Spirit of the Game” Award. This award is presented for a display that effectively showcases the history and significance of firearms.

As for the experience, I would tell all that if you have never been to an NRA Convention, GO. You will be impressed with the shear numbers of displayers and what they sell/make/provide for the firearm/hunting/outdoors genre.
